Rzeszów, Poland, July 22, 2026 — ALA.COM Sp. z o.o., a newly launched Polish defense company, said it has begun operations after securing a license to manufacture and trade in explosives, arms, ammunition and military-use products and technologies. The company says it will develop unmanned air and maritime systems, loitering munitions and rocket artillery, all linked by its proprietary ALA COMMAND command-and-control platform.
The launch comes as European defense planners increasingly focus on the battlefield lessons of Ukraine, where drones, software integration and lower-cost strike systems have become central to modern warfare. Recent defense analysis has emphasized that autonomous systems, AI-enabled coordination and scalable production are reshaping how NATO countries think about air defense, deep strike and battlefield resilience.
Founded by entrepreneur Dawid Rożek, creator of the fintech company ZEN.COM, ALA.COM says it is building a Polish-owned defense platform with a team drawn from the country’s military and engineering sectors.
“Europe’s security has to be built in Europe. That is why I brought together the best specialists to design and produce advanced weapon systems over which we retain full control, from source code through production, service and further development. We rely on our own technology and on solutions free of external restrictions, because that is the only way to build durable capabilities and genuinely strengthen the security of Poland and its allies. We want solutions developed here to be competitive on international markets and to serve allied defense for decades to come,” says Dawid Rożek, founder of ALA.COM.
The company says its model is designed to keep source code, intellectual property and core production in-house, while working with partners in Poland and across the EU and NATO.
The company is entering a defense market that has been redrawn by the war in Ukraine, where cheap drones and mass production have challenged the old logic of expensive, boutique weapons systems. European studies have argued that the continent needs more affordable counter-drone capabilities, greater domestic production and deeper strike options to close the gap between attacker and defender.
ALA.COM says its systems are intended for that environment. Its portfolio includes the HUSARIA family of unmanned aerial systems, the HARPUN line of unmanned surface vessels and the mobile ALA WR-40 and ALA WR-80 rocket artillery systems, all integrated through ALA COMMAND. The company says the systems are designed for rapid manufacture, NATO interoperability and export flexibility under Poland’s strategic-goods control framework.
