The creative platform unveils a new standard for AI imagery, embedding a professional art direction layer that translates simple prompts into fully-realized creative visions. It launches with Brand Kit for on-brand generation and a week of unlimited access.

MÁLAGA, Spain — October 9, 2026 — Magnific (formerly Freepik), the AI platform for professional creatives, today launched Magnific One, an image model with art direction built in. Magnific One layers the company’s own proprietary creative direction on top of state-of-the-art image technology, interpreting a user’s brief to make the calls an art director would—from composition and style to light, camera, and texture—before the image is generated. The result is AI imagery with a distinct visual sensibility, moving beyond the generic look of many current models.

Magnific One is available from today on all Magnific paid plans worldwide, on the web, in the desktop and mobile apps, and through the Magnific MCP, at magnific.com/one.

After 16 years of creating visual resources for the world’s best creatives, Magnific views taste as a core responsibility. Magnific One is where that expertise is put to work. While today’s AI models are powerful, achieving a professional result often depends on a user’s ability to write a complex prompt. Magnific One solves this by supplying the direction itself. Developed by the company’s creative technologists alongside its engineers, the model integrates art direction into the generation process, rather than adding a superficial filter at the end. The user sets the idea and style; Magnific One brings the eye.

Draft to Explore, Final to Finish

Magnific One offers two distinct modes for professional workflows. Draft is for exploration, returning a grid of 8 or 16 image variations from a single prompt for the price of one image—a quick way to explore different compositions and moods. Final produces production-level images in 2K or 4K. Both modes can be guided by styles, from photography to illustration, and up to five reference images, allowing teams to create a new, blended visual style rather than a simple copy.

On Brand from the First Prompt

Launching alongside Magnific One is Brand Kit, a system that ensures every generated image is on-brand. Teams can provide a website, a guidelines PDF, a few images, or a written description, and an agent extracts the logo, palette, typography, and tone to build a first version of the kit. From then on, Magnific One applies it to every image it generates in Final mode. Each result is automatically checked for brand fit, palette, typography, and logo, as well as framing, visual artifacts, and text legibility. One kit per brand, shared with a team, means an agency can switch clients by switching kits rather than re-briefing everyone.

“Most image models are very good at making the picture you described. Magnific One makes the picture you would have arrived at with a good art director in the room,” said Martin LeBlanc, Chief Experience Officer at Magnific. “Draft is for looking around. Final is for finishing. And with Brand Kit, a hundred people on a team get the same brand back.”

For final refinements, Auto Layers splits any image into editable layers, so exact fonts, colors, and copy can be set in Magnific’s editor, Designer, or finished in Figma and Photoshop through Magnific plugins, all without regenerating the image.

Availability and Pricing

Magnific One is available from October 8, 2026, on all Magnific paid plans worldwide. It uses a credit system priced by quality and resolution, from 180 credits per image (High, 2K) to 1,000 credits (Max, 4K). A Draft grid of 8 or 16 images costs the same as a single image. To mark the launch, Magnific One generations are unlimited in the Magnific desktop app from October 8 to October 15 for Premium+, Business, Pro Starter, and Pro subscribers.
