The Series A funding takes Vensum Power from technology development to industrial production. First products for EV charging and energy storage are scheduled to enter mass production at partner factories in 2027, followed by AI data centers, where limited power availability has become a major bottleneck.

Helsinki, Finland – 6 November 2026 – Finnish deep-tech company Vensum Power has raised a €9 million Series A round co-led by existing investor Lifeline Ventures and new investors Larsen & Toubro Group and Eviny Ventures. Continuing investors Grid.vc and Harjavalta Ventures also participated, bringing Vensum Power’s total funding to date to €15.2 million.

With the new funding, Vensum Power’s software-defined power conversion platform will move into mass production in 2027 for EV charging, energy storage and DC microgrids. The same proven technology will then be brought to AI data centers, where limited power availability has become a major bottleneck and a worldwide concern.

“This funding round propels us from developing technology to delivering it at industrial scale, and to bringing the same proven solution to AI data centers, where access to power has become the main bottleneck,” says Peter Nisula, CEO of Vensum Power. “The question in data centers is no longer only how powerful the chips are, but how efficiently the electricity actually reaches them. Thanks to our software-defined approach, our converters operate consistently at extremely high efficiency, even with rapidly changing loads.”

The new lead investors are the venture arms of major industrial groups: Larsen & Toubro in engineering and technology, and Eviny in renewables and energy infrastructure. Their backing reflects a growing need to get more out of limited power capacity as electricity demand rises.

“Data centers are competing with every other sector for the same grid capacity, and Vensum Power tackles one of the most overlooked inefficiencies in the system: converting power into a form that equipment can use optimally,” says Prashant Chiranjive Jain, Managing Director of L&T Vyoma and Head of L&T Electronic Products & Systems, both business verticals of Larsen & Toubro. “The global energy transition and the growth of digital infrastructure both depend on getting this right, at scale. We are proud to support Vensum Power as it scales up across global markets and, in doing so, helps accelerate the energy transition.”

For Eviny Ventures, the investment reflects its ambition to back technologies that can accelerate the energy transition.

“Through our own operations, we see every day how much value is lost when power is converted on its way to where it is needed. Vensum Power cuts those losses in areas we know well, such as EV charging, energy production and energy storage,” says Andreas Engelsen, CEO of Eviny Ventures. “We look forward to supporting the team with Eviny’s experience from more than a century in renewable energy.”
