Dr. Hitesh Sanganee, a Venture Partner at Octopus Ventures and former AstraZeneca executive, has built a career at the intersection of research, innovation strategy, and startup investment. During his tenure at AstraZeneca, he led emerging innovation initiatives, focusing on open science models, drug repositioning, and external partnerships. Over more than 20 years, he has helped advance multiple drug candidates into clinical development and has become a recognized voice in biotech venture ecosystems.
Dr. Marcus Schindler brings more than three decades of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, most recently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Novo Nordisk. There, he oversaw a global research organization of more than 2,600 scientists and a portfolio spanning over 100 discovery programs. His career has included leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, and GlaxoSmithKline, as well as advisory work with emerging AI-driven biotech firms such as Causaly and Cradle.bio.
