Our computer-aided detection system ADVANCE Chest CT offers lung nodule detection & tracking of changes over time, quantitative and qualitative analysis of 8 key image patterns, and 3D image search for 19 image patterns. By integrating new technology from partner RevealDx, nodules can be further characterized, detecting lung cancer earlier and reducing costs (JACR 9/22). contextflow ADVANCE Chest CT includes a TIMELINE feature that even quantifies and visualizes nodules over time, allowing physicians to follow treatment progress easily and efficiently. Fully integrated into the radiologist’s workflow, our preliminary research shows average reading time is 31% shorter when contextflow SEARCH is available for use (European Radiology July 2022). History
contextflow is a spin-off of the Medical University of Vienna (MUW) and European research project KHRESMOI, supported by the Technical University of Vienna (TU). Founded in 2016, we have grown to a team of 40+ diverse individuals from 20 countries. We received the BCS Search Industry Most Promising Startup Award 2016, the 2017 Digital Innovation Award by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science & Research, and were selected as one of 19 startups out of 700+ applications for the 2018 Philips HealthWorks accelerator. The Central European Startup Awards awarded us Best Healthcare Startup 2019 – Austria, Forbes DACH included us in their AI30 list in 2020, and in 2021, the Vienna Chamber of Commerce (WKO) named us a Born Global Champion.
